I'm an EMT basic in Fort Worth,Tx. I want to be a nurse. Originally I planned on getting my paramedic then trying to do an RN bridge. The time it takes to get my EMT-P could be time spent on prerequisites and applying to nursing school. I know they are both viable paths but I don't want to waste time. Iv owned my own business the last 10 years , I'm 29 and have somewhat recently decided to pursue a long time dream. Iv been an EMT working for a very busy urban ambulance service for the last nearly 2 years. Any pros out there who can share a little wisdom? I would greatly appreciate it.
