El Camino New Grad Program Fall 2013

Hey everyone. Didn't see a thread for this so hopefully this will get things rolling.

I just got the "Supplemental Application Information for 2013" email and was wondering if anyone was familiar with this employment process.

Anyone know what units are hiring?

I also got an email for supplemental info on the 20th!! I turned it in to HR on the 22nd and the ladies told me that they would start contacting people after the 30th.

On the original job posting it listed multiple units that were hiring:

Medical

Surgical

Oncology

Surgical/Pediatrics

Telemetry

Telemetry/Stroke

Inpatient Rehab

I know this isn't too helpful, but fingers crossed that we all get calls for interviews!!!

Hi everyone!! I applied for the same too!! I turned in my supplemental info on the 15th. Hopefully we will all get interview calls!! I dont have how many applicants were asked to turn in the supplemental info. Good luck everyone!!

I heard they are "overwhelmed" by the amount of applications they received. :-/ I know that doesn't make our odds good, but I'm praying this is it for me! Love that hospital! I turned in my packet last week. Let us know if you get called. I'm keeping my phone glued to me ;)

I called today to see when they would be calling back. I was told they were hoping to call people back by the end of the month. I am assuming that is for interviews since they had an awful lot of materials to sort through in the supplemental packets.

Does anyone remember the application for El Camino? Was there a portion where we ranked which unit we wanted to go into? And if so, does anyone remember which units were listed? I can't recall any of the application..
