Hi. I just joined the forum. I got the TEAS invitation as well; I took the TEAS test on the 16th. Honestly, it went okay. I'm not super psyched about it, I did pass but I'm not sure if my score is high enough for those golden 40 spots. :crying2: I did great on the math although that was the part that was stressing me out the most, the reading comprehension and english language were good for the most part and the science was okay. I thought I did pretty good, but I must bear in mind that I'm in competition with many other students. So we'll see.... Have you taken the TEAS; if not, when are you scheduled? And how did it go? Hope we all get in!!!

And yes, it does suck to wait. By the end of may or early june, we should all know the anticipated or dreaded news. :)

Hi there! I took my TEAS on the 10th, it wasn't that bad but I'm not sure if my score is competitive enough :idea:

I wish I had more days to study though.. Do you know how many people are invited to take the TEAS? when I was taking it on

the 10th there were about fifteen people.

Same here. I wish I had more time to study but it was my fault. I didn't read the e-mail carefully and did not see the part where i had to sign up for the test date in person. Oops! Luckily they gave me a courtesy call and i got a decent spot. When I went to sign up for the test, I took a peek at the name sheet to see how many spots they allow for each date, and it looks like about 20. Not too bad. I remember the 10th was not full when I signed up, it was like half full. On the 16th, I took the last spot so there were about 20 people.

So they take the top highest 40 scores and they also have some 15 students go to the Compton Ctr too, is that out of the 40 or separate from the 40? At this point, I wouldn't mind going to the COmpton Center. :eek:

Hi, Im starting this fall too but as an LVN, but we might bump into each other. So how did you do in your TEAS test?

Hi Raysam2011,

I did okay on the TEAS test, I wish I had more time to study then my score would be higher. Do LVNs have to take the TEAS as well?

Pinknova,

No not a TEAS test but Step test like a challenge exam, which I heard like taking an NCLEX for LVN all over again :(and I have no idea when it will be, I guess I will find out soon. is your orientation this August 4th? I guess, I will see you there :)

Hey guys! My bf just got accepted into the El Camino Compton RN program for Spring. What kind of materials did you guys absolutely need/find helpful so far? I'm trying to get some useful/cool stocking stuffers for him for xmas so he can cross some items off the materials list. Thanks!
