Hello,
I recently graduated from nursing school, passed boards and went straight to work in a level III NICU. HELP! I am looking to purchase a really good text book on neonatal nursing, to develop my skills as well as knowledge base in NICU nursing. I really love my job I just need help to get up to speed faster. The perceptorship program here looked great on paper at the interview but is really starting to fall short of what it should have been. Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!

Check out the member recommended reading list thread above.......
Personally, I use Care of the Sick Neonate and Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.......

Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing, as Steve mentioned, is a great book. I will also be a new grad in June (on rotation in NICU currently) and this book is a great reference. We have a copy in our NICU and I plan on getting my own.
