it depends on what geographical region you'll be working in. in some jobs, you don't need but a bsn to hold an administration spot. in ltc, you may not even need an rn. my experience is that employers look at your overall supervisory experience more so than sheer educational background. i would check your job ads and see what qualifications the various employers are requesting for administration and go from there. it can't hurt to have a certificate, however.
