Hi I'm Drea,
I'm taking the HESI in May and wondering how people are studying for it. I have the book and took the test twice already and I can't get higher then an 88. The A&P is what is bringing me down every time. The first time I hadn't had A&P 2 yet and got mainly heart questions on the test. Took A&P 2 and the second time I took the HESI I had not one heart question. I need to score over 90.1 to get into Lee Campus program. I applied last year with my HESI score of 88 and got accepted to Collier Campus which is too far for me. I see a lot of people scoring 95 etc on HESI so what's the secret. I need to help to score just 2.1 points higher so frustrating.

I really didn't have a lot of heart questions when I took mine in April. Just basic things like what makes the first heart sound?, second heart sound? I would also suggest studying which hormones are secreted by the anterior and posterior pit, know the arteries and where they're located like popliteal-behind knee, femoral, know all the joints and examples of where they are located, know what gland is the master gland, know all muscles-gastrocnemious,sartorius, how many days are normally in a woman's menstrual cycle, what hormones are produced by the ovaries. That's all I really remember.
