Eden Energy Medicine-anyone familiar

Published

Specializes in outpatient, inpatient.

I have a friend, granted who lives in the Southwest, that is a certified Eden Energy Medicine practitioner. She is an ADN and has her own practice. Is anyone familiar with this type of healing nursing, and might it be effective in the Delaware/Maryland area?

Thanks!!

I am studying energy medicine (and also have taken 3 levels of Healing Touch) and Eden's book is on our required reading list. I have previewed the book and while I like most of what is presented in the book. I am not sure I am in 100% agreement with everything she teaches, but it's more of my personal opinion vs her opinion that is the issue. I have also studied through Barbara Brennan's book, Hands of Light, which is excellent. Also, Healing Touch and Reiki use the same principles but are much more affordable and there are certified teachers in most states. There are a few choices available with this kind of work, and the right choice usually comes down to how in depth you want to use this.

The American Holistic Nurse's Association no longer allows Continuing Education credits from Eden's program. I never did ask AHNA whether it was because they no longer endorse her program or because Eden no longer wants to apply to have Continuing Education credits accepted...

Anyone else know anything about this?
