Hi,
I'm new to nursing and was wondering if there is anyone here from Brevard County who could kindly answer a few of my questions :) I've put in my application for the LPN program at EFSC/Melbourne Campus and taking my TEAS this week (the only thing missing in my application). Deadline is September 1st and the program is set to start in January. That being said, I can't find any information about a typical LPN class schedule and have no idea how to plan my work schedule ahead of time. I found an old thread about LPN Palm Bay program where they had a combination of night & online classes? I am currently working as a CNA full-time and cannot afford to cut my hours. Is it even possible for me to attend the LPN program being a full-time CNA? If not, does anybody have any suggestions as to what other programs I should enroll into to further my education? Keiser is too expensive for me and even after I take out federal loans I would still have to pay something like $8K per semester.. I don't know what to do and I am desperate to go to school, get a better pay etc. Thank you for your help!
