Dumb uniform company

I ordered my school uniform back on Nov 22 and I was told if I order before Dec 1 it'll be ready on time. I start nursing school on Monday! I called today and the uniform company said they just sent it to the embroidery place...but my nametag is ready. Gee thanks. Now what?? I guess buy another top without the school logo on it? This stinks.

Are you starting your first semester of nursing school? If so you may have a couple weeks before you start clinicals. That's how it is at our school, at least. We have a few weeks in the skills lab first, and I'm pretty sure we don't need to wear uniforms during that. Can you check with your school to find out what you should do? I'm guessing you're not the only one with this issue!

Here's hoping for a speedy delivery of your uniforms!

Yeah, it's my first semester of nursing school. Monday is actually just an orientation, so i'll ask about what I can do and when clinicals start.

At my school,clinicals don't start until the 3rd week. You'll probably get it in time but make sure you tell your instructor anyway as soon as possible. We were counted off if our uniform was incomplete.

Well, I called back again today and some random guy was all "Duh, I don't think it's in...call back next week." I said I start school next week and asked to speak to a manager. The manager said, "Oh it's here. It's just in a box. Let me get it ready and i'll give you a call."

Goodness! BUt at least it's there. Yay.
