Hey, according to the Arizona Board of Nursing, it all depends. Do you have previous issues with alcohol, previous felonies. When you renew your certification they might ask you about the DUI when it comes back on the background check. Always be honest when asked about your issue.
While I understand this could jeopardize future aspirations and am in no way trying to put you down it is important to view this as a learning experience and prevent this from happening again.

I am a CNA in Arizona and recently pulled over and arrested for a DUI. What will happen to my CNA license when I report it to the state board of Nursing I called my Hospital and thought it was the right thing to do since I have court in a month, but my RN Maneger asked when my next scheduled day was and told me to call him tomorrow. I am freaking out i have worked for Banner Health for 2 years and love my job and I am worried about losing my license... I know I made a mistake and do not need to be preached to just maybe someone out there has had the same problem.. please help me and thank you in advance
