Hi Neeko,
First off, congratulations! Making it this far is already a huge accomplishment. (I am a DAS alum.) Being part of the Pre-VN course means you were one of the top scorers from the initial Entrance Exam. The Pre-VN course is 5 weeks long and you will go through basic anatomy, group projects, tests, and quizzes. Towards the end of the 5 weeks, you will interview with the program director or instructors and basically tell them about yourself and why YOU should be part of the top 30 that are actually accepted into the LVN program. Your grades from the Pre-VN course will help you, but the interview is very important. Hope this helped you, and good luck! DAS's LVN program is an awesome one to be accepted into! :)
congrats to you too for making it! thank you so much for the info, I was just so clue less. When did you graduate from DAS? i know Ive heard its a great school and that's probably why its so hard to get in! well if I just speak from my heart I hope the interview gets me in. I don't want to sound fake or reheorificed. So there's a test and quiz every week? is that how it works?

Hello, I was recently accepted to the DAS Pre LVN program March 2012 and I am not quite sure how they narrow 60 students to 30 for the full LVN program. Ive heard that there is an interview of some sort but I don't know what to expect. Has anyone taken the pre lvn course and got accepted to the LVN Program? Help!
