Hi, I'm new here.
Interested to know if anyone else was doing doula training so that they can start attending births and doing in home postnatal care, while still in school?
i just started MaternityWise and I really like it. Looking for some study buddies interested in L&D and postpartum. What program did you choose and why?
thanks!

Doula and nursing school are a difficult combo. As a doula, you need to be available at any time, without a lot of advanced notice, for the births, and nursing schools are generally time-consuming with strict attendance policies.
There are ways to make it work, such as having a backup or working with a group where you're only on-call at times you're available. And postpartum is generally more flexible.
