dominican college ABSN nursing

The nursing profession to me is a unique privilege that calls for true compassion and sensitivity to fellow human conditions. It is a profession with the aim of allowing one to help save people's lives and as well as reassurance to people in need. While my decision for the profession was shaped by experiences throughout my lifetime, I have always upheld these values in all that I have done. This remains true even in my present position as a certified nursing assistance in the hospital that I work and spend most of my days with adults with severe mental health, demented, bipolar, and other problems. My experiences in the last 6 years working with mentally and sick people has challenged my understanding of empathy but has also strengthened my ability to always remember that ill people, whether mental or medical, are just people who need help. And that as a caregiver of any form, the priority should be ensuring that the patients or clients receive the best care they require for recovery.

In advancing, in the health field, i decided to go back to school to further my education. Dominican college was the only school that gave me acceptance letter. I will be starting the ABSN program in May. My fear now, is i have read and heard so many negative review about the school. Please is there any past student that can tell me many positive things about the school and how one can succeed for the program without falling out. I will greatly appreciate if i can get a reply from someone. Thank you
