Hello,
I am about to graduate from the ADN program from Brightwood (formally know as Kaplan). After getting my RN license I want to continue to get my BSN and wanted to apply to UTA. Does anyone know if they will accept the credits from a for profit school and how hard it is to get into the RN to BSN program? Anyone who did get their RN degree from Kaplan or similar schools that know of other RN to BSN programs that will accept the credit? Thanks for everything in advance!

I don't see Brightwood or Kaplan on their course equivalency chart, so might want to contact admissions if nobody else knows. They do have University of Phoenix listed which is another for profit and it looks like there are some courses that transfer and some don't.

I have a non nursing BBA from Sam Houston State, and my university wasn't listed in the equivalency charts either, if that indicates anything
My guess is this list is far from being all-inclusive. It's probably just a list of the most common transfer institutions. I'm thinking it's like TSA's pre clearance fast lane at the airport.
I hope it is more efficient..lol There was a note that said any other institutions would be reviewed on case by case, or something to that effect.
