I am really trying to get on for the PCT position in the ER. I need some pull. I am CNA, who is working on becoming an RN. And this position is right up my alley right now 7 on 7 off 3-11pm in the Emergency Department...SUPER GREAT!! I have applied online, but no response yet. And to think all I hear is how easy it is to get a job when you are a male...I WISH!! My goal is to be a Critical Care Nurse in the ER..And this would be a huge and great stepping stone, so if anyone has any connections or tips, please give them to me! Thanks

I knew a guy that worked there before he graduated. Call up to the ER and see if you can get in touch with the Nurse Manager or ER director.
If you can't get in touch with them I use to work in the ER at Brookwood and could possibly hook you up.

I work at St.Vincent's East. I'm not sure if you applied at that location. You can call 838-3000 ask for HR and ask for Marybeth in the HR dept she's a recruiter. Hopefully she can help you. God bless.

You wouldn't be able to hook me up in the ER at Brookwood as an RN would you?
I graduated Jeff State in December and haven't been able to even get an interview. I precepted at Shelby in the ER and loved it.
