Does anyone have updated 2009 salary info?

U.S.A. Georgia

Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone had info on updated 2009 salaries for new RN grads at various Atlanta Hospitals? Particularly Piedmont Hospital as this is where i will be working once i graduate in Dec. Just wanna get a general idea for what type of salary to expect. I'm hoping to go into ICU/CCU or OR.

Specializes in ER.

I don't think the school one attends has much or anything to do with the salary paid. An RN is an RN :) Salary.com has great information by zipcode for salary.

I never mentioned what school i attended. I only asked about new grad rn salary with particular reference to what Piedmont hospital new grad rn starting salary was. Sorry if that was unclear!

Oops! Sorry I misread! I have no idea how I did that LOL!

I do know from http://www.wage.hour.gov that there will be a raise in the minimum wage in GA. to 7.75 an hour but I am already making that. I wonder how much more of a raise I am going to get when this goes into effect on the 24th.

Specializes in Neuro ICU, Gyn/Uro Surgical.

New grad base pay for this year around the ATL area is 21-22/hr. You can make up to 27-30 with shift differential.

I am a new grad working for EUH.

Thank you for the update. I just wanted to get somewhat of a clue of what i could expect once i graduate this Dec.
