Does anyone know how a nursing program contacts you for an interview?

I was wondering if they call you to set up interviews or just send a letter in the mail?

The school that I applied for called me to set it up. You can always call the school and ask.

Good Luck!

thanks for the reply! I tried talking to the nursing admissions lady at the school but she wouldn't even tell me if they were still giving out interviews..she just said that they are still in the process of reviewing files and they are behind..so I am a little worried! But she said they will be contacting me soon..so hopefully! What kinds of questions did they ask you in the interview?

I too received a phone call, so I would expect that. Admissions can be very frustrating, but chances are you'll get a phone call!

ookay! thanks! about how long after you appied did you get the phone call for the interveiw? ahh im like freaking out, i hate waiting lol

Honestly, it took a while!!! Let's see, I took my NLN and completed my application in April and I got my acceptance in mid-June, so the interviews had to be in May. So at least a month went by! And believe me, I was pulling my hair out the entire time! Have you taken the NLN? They might be waiting for those scores to come in (not sure how your school works, but if they're behind, it might be because of something like that.)

For my experience it took about a month after I sent the application I got the call about schedule the interview either by phone or in person. The scheduling was about a month from that call. I have yet to have the phone interview it is about 2 weeks away. I did find some people on this site who are or were accepted and I asked them what to expect. have you tried looking under the region section and finding other applicants or nurses from the school you are applying to? I relieves the stress a little bit to connect with others in the program you're applying for.
