HCC like any other nursing program is not perfect. i've been researching post here about HCC and found out that there is a mixed reaction to their program.
the main thing is, their program is not approved by NLNAC, which to some people, is a BIG turn off. but then again, you can still sit for NCLEX after the program and still get your RN...so it is up to the individual.
also, they say that the personnel at the nursing department are not helpful. again, it was never an issue for me because so far, when i email them or call them, i always get a straight answer or they reply back to me. i just don't know with other students.
as for the teachers, well, we all know that there will always be a good and not so good ones. so just be very flexible. after all, that is what we need when we are RN's already.
as for me, i am going there because that is where i started all my pre req and i got accepted there. i will be doing BSN later on so as to broadened my horizon as an RN.
so hopefully, we will all get to meet each and everyone over there!

I have been planning to attend Kingwood College for the Nursing program until...today! LOL. I had to drive an hour one way due to traffic. By the time I got home from taking my Hesi I was so tired. Anyhow if push comes to shove I would definitely attend this program BUT I found that Houston Community College offers the same program and it's closer. So anyhow if anyone knows anything about this program I would appreciate a little insight :)
