Do school program codes expire?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone knows if school program codes expire. I just took my NCLEX-RN last week. However, when I tried to do the Pearson VUE trick to see if I could expect a pass or fail, I could not proceed because my school code was no longer recognized. I checked and my program code is in the Jan 1, 2019 code list, but it is no longer on the new April 1, 2019 list. I'm very worried and depressed right now. I'm thinking that if I did not pass this time, that I am ineligible to become an RN now and my future is done for. It's devastating. I've chatted with NCSBN, and they tell me to inquire to the Board of Nursing about the school program code. I just sent CA BRN an email before coming here to type out my sorrow. I swear, I can feel the plaque in my arteries right now...

I'm being haunted by this question, "Can my school or the board make me ineligible to reapply for a repeat examination because I've failed many times over the past 6+ years?"

Thanks for listening,

In the online reapply for CA BRN, there is a paragraph that states,

"The BRN encourages candidates to wait until they are made re-eligible by the BRN before re-registering with the NCLEX testing service. The BRN will re-evaluate your educational documents. If it is determined that the course(s) or the entire program no longer meets current California Board of Registered Nursing requirements, you will be notified of any deficiencies."

I feel a bit better reading that.
