I graduated from college many may years ago, 14 to be exact, and my last 3 quarters (we weren't on the semester system) weren't stellar. I have about 28-30 semester units to go with my prereqs which means they will count about 45 of my last quarter units into my overall GPA. My last 45 units were a 2.8. So the highest I will probably be able to boost my overall GPA is to a 3.0/3.1. All of the prereqs I have done so far are A's, but it doesn't look like they will count into my overall GPA since they were done earlier in my college career.
My question is, if I have a 3.5 and above in the 4 science classes and an overall GPA of 3.0 will that be enough? I know they say you need a 3.0 or above, but does anyone get in with just a 3.0? I realize I also need to score well on the TEAS. I have 2 years experience managing nurses and 2 additional years as an office manager for a physician. I am also planning on doing some volunteer work.
I am putting all of my eggs in one basket for SM. I hope my overall 3.0 will be enough if everything else is above par!:)
Anyone accepted into or has been through the program that was in a similar situation??
