I have heard the term CNA-2, but we do not have them in WA state. Instead we have a "delegation" that you can get to increase your scope (with the direction from an RN). CNA's are allowed to work in hospitals here as well, but they typically don't consider someone unless they have experience (which you have!).
As far as transferring your license I'm not sure as I have not had to do it yet personally. What I will say is that the Washington Department of Health website has tons of information about this and every time I have had any issues with my certifications. They have been very prompt and helpful in their replies so feel free to message them!

I currently reside in NC and have my licensure as both a CNA-1 and CNA-2. I will beginning work in our local hospital shortly and have about 2 years experience before my husband and I move out to WA. Does WA even have CNA-2s and would I be able to work in a hospital, even if they only have CNA-1s?
Also, how do I go about transferring my NC license to WA? Is it hard to transfer into this state?
