Do certifications help

Hi, 
I've been an LPN for 17yrs primarily working in a physicians office and a few yrs at a Psych hospital. I don't necessarily want to go for my RN b/c mentally I don't think I could do the work. Heard how stressful it is. I've seen certifications LPNs can get in Pharmacology. Is it worth it?

I believe certifications do add value to a nurse's existing license.
