I ran physical exercise/relaxation group for awhile that borrowed from yoga. I don't know how theraputic it was. It did keep the patients entertained and helped them get an active start on the day.
I get the impression that yoga is not seen as being directly theraputic enough to be considered reembursable therapy.
Thanks Charlie. Couldn't they get reimbursed for yoga by putting it under 'recreational therapy'?
Its pretty tough to snow the insurance companies. They know that yoga is something offered at the local YMCA.
