Diversion program

I have been an RN in California for 10 years. I just found this site while looking for info on the diversion program. Recently a diversion program nurse whom I supervised reported to my superior that I smelled of alcohol. I was sent home and no longer work at that facility; in fact, I heard that a report was made to the BRN. Now I am on pins and needles. I'm afraid to apply for new work, even though I have had several unsolicited calls from employers recruiting me specifically based on recommendations from MDs who know I left the previous facility. I'm afraid to respond to these job offers, because what if when they check my license they are told it is under investigation. How can I find out if a report was really made? How long should I expect it to be before I receive some sort of letter from the BRN if in fact the report was made. I do not want to accept a new employment offer only to receive a letter in a month asking me to respond to the BRN by participating in the diversion program or going to investigation. Anyone have suggestions?
