distance education

Hi!,

I am currently in a distance program for my BSN(should be finishing in another semester) For me the distance program is

great because I can still work and was able to stay with the program despite a move due to husband's job loss.

The only problem I can see is that if you are a person who does better with one on one interaction with a teacher, it may not work for you. With a distance program you have to be really disciplined and do a lot on your own. One advantage is that you can do things pretty much as your schedule permits. The instructor is usually available by email but its not the same as being in the classroom.

I can only describe it as feeling a little isolated at times. But it is great if you don't have time or ability to take off from your family or job to do school. Hope this helps.:p :roll Jane
