discouragement, fear, and doubt

Published

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to post my thoughts about preparing for the NCLEX RN exam. I recently finished nursing school 3/5/14, I just had my graduation ceremony april 4, 2014, and I am scheduled to take my NCLEX 4/17/14 at 2pm :smug:. I often come on all nurses on a daily basis to see how people have done, and what they do to study, to see what will help me along my journey. I must say that lately I have begun to doubt myself, I end up reading how someone has failed multiple times, and end wondering will that happen to me? am I studying enough? do I know enough? and then I begin to feel discouraged about it and then FEAR sets in can I actually do this? I took my exit hesi blindly in January I didn't get to prepare for it much, I scored a 942 the very first time I took it and was completely shocked.

I guess i'm saying all of this to say, please don't be discouraged, doubtful, or fearful while you are studying for the NCLEX just know that God wouldn't bring you this far to leave you nor forsake you, but he loves and cares for you. Remember to keep calm and pray, God will direct your path.

God bless you all on your NCLEX journey
