discouraged veteran nurse

[40 years]

I have worked as an RN for 40 years, I had hoped that nursing would

progress with the times, but it seems to have taken mega steps back in time.As a new nurse, I worked in Pedi, I had 24 patients that all had

meds to be given in buretrols. They also needed feeding , diapering and I had to take orders off and chart the happenings on each patient..

When are nurses going to get rights? I walked picket lines trying to

better things. I am 61 years of age. New Jersey nurses have to get

some spunk and fight for their rights.

If California can change things then why can't nurses change things
