So, I have been in touch with a couple recruiting agencies who all seem to offer similar packages; three- year contracts in rural areas, prevailing wage, orientation on site, help to get settled in... Does anyone have recent experience in signing a contract with any of these agencies, pros and cons please!?? Is there anything you wish you had known before signing?
From my understanding it would also be possible to find an employer for direct hire, but they must be willing to sponsor the visa/ GC. Would it be a huge advantage to choose this path instead of signing the aforementioned three- year contract? Does anyone have recent experience in finding their own visa sponsorship? How did that work out? ?
All input on this appreciated?

I have been in contact with a recruiter who submitted a resume then never followed up. The company now has a position I'm interested in as direct hire. Can I take it or am I obligated to work with my recruiter who I do not want to continue with?
I have no idea! My guess would be though that since they never follow up you could do apply for the direct hire ..? I mean if there is no binding contract?

So, finally did you apply with agency or by your own?
