Dialysis Data -

i have received permission to provide these links - this information will give detailed information on dialysis facilities - there is a 'tracker' where you can enter any facility name, zipcode, etc. these reports are often not shared with staff in units and this data goes to cms from each facility. these reports are now made pubic by propublica - many of you are aware of this, for those of you who are not --

This information, as above stated, can be a valuable tool for those working incenter. Many staff never get to see their own facility survey conducted by the state, and many never see the data that is on these 'dialysis facility reports - DFR' -- therefore, knowing, for instance, that your facility had an infection control problem, or other areas, is helpful. I hope this helps many -- and appreciate being given permission to post such... there are wonderful facilities out there that provide excellent care with staff that provide sincere care, but unfortunately there are those on the other end of the spectrum.. and those are the ones that I am interested in - I thank all of you who provide sincere care and love your patients and understand where they are coming from as a patient who requires dialysis to live...
