to all the nurses!
i need your help...
i always wanted to be a nurse when i was at a young age and then i changed my mind when i was in highschool/sixth form.
so i did child care instead.
but now i am really determined to be a nurse. adult nursing or neonatal nursing(preferably adult nursing)
i don't know where to go and where to start.
i didn't do too good in school because i was having fun a bit too much. got a few cs and ds and thats all which i totally regret.
i'm 17 turning 18 in a few months time.
i want to do something productive with my life and stop wasting my time.
i need advice on what courses to take, where to take it, what i need, etc.
i am from england, newcastle.
i need good advice and i thought, what better way to get it than to ask real live nurses
thank you in advance.:)

I would sugges that you contact the community college and the universities and find out what classes are required. I do know that you have to take A&P I and A&P II and Microbiology for the ADN program and 2 extra sciences for the BSn program. You will also have to take college algebra, statistics, english I & II, history, psychology, nutrition(depending on the school), fine arts and maybe a health class. Hope this helps, good luck!
