i am a nursing student . me and my group are doing project regarding to ' deskilling in nursing ' . we want to listen opinions of nurses from allnurses.com too . do you feel nurses become deskilling because of technology in workplace ? first of all let me explain what deskilling is .

explaination : deskilling is a process by which skilled labor within an industry(eg.hospital) or economy is eliminated by the introducation of technologies operated by semiskilled or unskilled workers .

this results in cost savings due to lower investment in human capital, and reduces barriers to entry ,weakening the bargaining power of the human capital.
