Denver Health PRN Policy

Published

Hi,

Does anyone know what Denver Health's PRN work policy is? Do they require you to work a certain number of days per schedule?

Thanks!

Denver Health's PRN (as needed) work policy typically allows for flexibility in scheduling, but specific requirements can vary by department. Here are some general points about PRN work policies:

1. Flexible Scheduling
PRN staff usually have the option to choose their shifts based on availability and department needs.
2. Minimum Shift Requirements
Some departments may require PRN employees to work a certain number of shifts per month or per schedule to maintain their status.
3. Notification
PRN workers may need to notify their supervisors in advance if they are unable to work scheduled shifts.
4. Department-Specific Policies
It's essential to check with the specific department you are interested in, as policies can differ widely.
5. Orientation and Training Fnaf
PRN employees may still be required to complete orientation or training sessions.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's best to contact Denver Health's HR department or the specific department you are considering working in.

When I worked there their PRN requirement was two days a month, one of them being a weekend day. If you work nights, know that they do not count Friday 7p shifts as a weekend. Never made sense to me.

I'm not familiar with their specific requirements, but often PRN positions require a minimum number of shifts per month or scheduling period. It's worth checking their website or contacting HR directly for the most accurate information. Speaking of job requirements and flexibility, sometimes even looking for a job can feel like a frantic, almost over-the-top experience – kinda like trying to survive the ridiculousness in Funny Shooter 2
