I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experience with this.
I was recently dropped from Chamberlain due to something that came up on my background check. It was a misdemeanor a domestic and trust passing with my abusive ex from 9 years ago that I deeply regret, and I've grown so much since then. I really want to become a nurse, and I'm heartbroken that this might stop me from pursuing my dream.
Has anyone ever gone through the appeals process for a background issue and actually been reinstated or accepted back into the program? If so, what did you include in your appeal? Any tips or advice would mean the world to me right now.
