I found this info on the pearsonvue.com/nclex website.

I called them 2 weeks ago because I had not received my confirmation email and it turns out they had my email address wrong. Good luck.

Did you register online or by mail?

If by mail: My school mailed mine with the rest of my classmates'. When they all got their ATTs and I didn't, I got worried. I called and called, but they had no record of me. A week later my application and money order were returned to me in the mail. I had missed filling out 'RN or LPN' exam!! I could have sworn I remembered doing that, but there was the form in front of me, clear as day not bubbled in!

If online: When I got the above back, I immediately registered online. I had the confirmation almost instantly and the ATT within 30min (but the board had approved me a week before). The initial password was the same as my username. If you registered online then you should know your username (made up by you). If you didn't receive that initial confirmation, my guess is that you typed your email wrong.

So it seems to me that PV moves quickly, as long as your board has given the okay. I was also worried that because of the delay, I wouldn't be able to schedule a date I would have gotten had I filled out the form properly. This was true initially, but if you have several centers that you can travel to, and watch the website like a hawk, you can watch for and snag when someone changes (I did this, and saw many openings over the course of 2 days, they just don't last more than a few minutes). Hope one of these things helps!
