Hey everyone...i'm going to be petitioning for DCCCs nursing program for 2017, and I'm worried about my TEAS score. I took it 3 years ago and scored a 78.7, with an 88.1 reading score, 93.3 math, 60.5 science, and 76.7 english score. I took it again this past week and scored a 76.7 cumulative score, so i'm going to submit my first round of scores. Has anyone else petitioned in the past and think this is a fair enough score? I was hoping to score in the 80's but it just didn't happen. Debating whether to take it again or if my 78.7 will be okay. Any help would be great as i really want to get in!

I am hoping to start in 2017 as well. I have not taken my teas test. I still have to take my biology. I believe your scores are fine. The teas test has changed and they allow people to use a calculator. Therefore, it is not as competitive compare to before.

Your score should be fine. I scored the same which was in the 83 percentile; that's pretty good. But I'm taking it again just to see if I can get higher. The new teas w/ calculators isn't in effect until 8/31. Already submitted my petiton and everything.

Hi, one of my friends got a 72%(did not round up), and she got accepted last year. I took it just this summer and got a 70%, I'm not sure the chance of my score, but the deadline to submit the TEAS is Sep.28th I believe. not sure if it's worth it to retry or just let it go and pray.
