Hello All,
My name is Ashley and I am new on this website.
I have a TON of questions for whomever has attempted or knows anything about the Del Mar College Registered Nursing Program in Corpus Christi Texas.
I plan to apply for the program next spring of 2010. Hopefully earlier. I would apply this coming fall, but from what I understand, its not wise to have a full time job while going through the program so I'm trying to get rid of some bills to where I can go down to a part time job. Has anything been through that program and worked full time or part time?
Also, my grade point average is a C at this point. By the end of this semester it will be up to a 3.0 or pretty close to it. Has anyone been excepted into the program with a gpa of a B?
I've been scanning over this site for tips from people who have taken the Hesi a2 entrance exam. So any further tips on it would definitely be appreciated.
I'm basically looking for an overview of the program. Is it extremely hard? Requires tons of studying? Just so i can prepare myself for whats the come.
I'm extremely nervous.
Any feedback would help.
Thank you!

Some people are admitted with a 2.8 G.P.A it goes by a point system, your gpr on al your prerequisetes, and your HESI A2 scores. A B will do you just fine as long as you do well on the HESI
