Hey y'all, I'm currently on the path of applying for Nursing class of Spring 2016. At this point, I'm debating on if I should continue wit the hopes of becoming a nurse or pick another major similar to it. Reason being...my grades. I got an A in Chemistry lecture, B in Chemistry lab, C in both AP 1 & 2. I'm taking Microbiology next semester and Pathology next Fall due to other prerequisites I still have to complete before applying. The nursing school I want to get into requires a 2.75 science GPA. Right now, I'm debating if I should retake AP 2 in the summer and continue with my plan for applying to Nursing School or pick a different path. The teacher for AP 1 & 2 are the same and is the only one who teaches it. She is the toughest professor out of everyone in the Biology department from what I've seen. All I've wanted to do since I was little was travel the world while helping people and I fell in love with medicine in High School after getting into a Clinical Rotation program. My original plan was to become a Nurse Missionary since that would combine my two passions into one. If I have to pick another path, I really don't know what to do. Anyway, thanks y'all for reading this and please comment with anything you have.

If you really want to be a nurse I don't see why you would give up. If you can retake A&P I and II for higher grades I would. It takes a lot of effort to do well in college, no matter what your major is. It's up to you to put in the effort necessary
If I do retake it, it has to be in the summer but I can't move in my apartment until the end of summer. Only other choice is live in the dorms on campus for that summer session. For retaking it, is it better to take it again at your university or take it at the community college in your hometown, which also has an ADN program there. I'm just worried because the state is paying my tuition and books while in return; I have to complete a degree within a certain number of years.
Whatever is more convenient for you. I prefer taking classes at my community college because 1) they're online/hybrid and 2) they're cheaper which I guess isn't a huge deal since financial aid is paying for it anyway. I also think that the classes at my community college move at a slower pace.
