Data Collection Methods for Quality Measures and Meaning Use

Published

As a graduate project, I would like to determine how hospitals are capturing data for quality measures currently and whether vendor model reports are assisting them in this endeavor to meet meaningful use criteria.

This link Data Collection Methods for Quality Measures and Meaning Use will take you to a seven question survey which should take about 15 minutes to complete.

The purpose of this survey is to determine the Data Collection methods hospitals are utilizing for Quality Measures that will assist them in meeting the Meaningful Use criteria for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

ARRA includes sweeping changes that affect, among other things, the adoption of electronic medical records. This act includes financial incentives to reward medical providers who achieve meaningful use of EMR systems in an effort to improve the efficiency of medical care in this country.

Thank you for your time in taking this survey.
