I was always baffled that something that seemed so obvious to me (that these schools are a rip off) wasn't apparent to everybody else. Sure the admissions committee may have lower standards and promise that you'll find a job to pay off your debt that will grow to the size of Greece's, but my mother always said "when something sounds too good to be true, IT IS." Especially when it comes to the online RN-BSN programs - there are multiple state university systems that offer the exact same online RN-BSN but for a fraction of the cost. Why spend $575 a credit at XYZ for-profit online when SUNY Delhi online is $207/credit?
