Hello all,
Unfortunately, I made a "D" in A&P I my first go around. I know what I did wrong and what I should have done different, but that's water under the bridge, and neither here nor there.
Any which rate, to get accepted into the ADN program here, you basically need an "A" in all the required sciences courses (Intro. to A&P, A&P I and II, Gen. Bio, Microbiology). Now, I can retake A&P I in the Fall and there's a good chance I could still earn an "A" in A&P II (which I'm taking now), but it would set me back another 6 months-1 year for getting into the program.
Should I try for the LVN program (which doesn't even require A&P I) if my ultimate (and only) goal is tobecome an RN? Are bridge programs that great?
Or should I just wait it out? A little back story, I have a decent job now that will get me through school, $12/ish per hour, so I don't know if there's a need to try for LVN or just wait a year?

I'd just retake it because the LVN program would set you back even more from becoming an RN. A&P is only 6 months where the LVN program would take you a year or more then to do a bridge program would be even longer.

I'd retake the A&P, do research about the bridge program see if there is anything else you can take while your waiting that would benefit you for the BSN program if that is what your goal is.
