Curriculum change, challenging courses, help!

My LPN program starts Aug 13 and on that day they are changing the curriculum as well as the program structure. It used to be modules now I believe they are going to courses. (Not sure what the difference is yet.) Anyhow, I received a letter yesterday that said advanced standing will be given on certain occasions. One occasion is if the student has a LTC Assistant certification. (which I do). And another instance is if the student has taken A&P, Nursing Concepts, and Med term they will be able to test on these and receive advanced standing. I was thinking about asking if I could test even though I haven't finished those courses. I want to take A&P as I haven't had it at all yet but would like to try to test on the others. Would any of you ask to test out for something like this even if you haven't finished the courses? Just wondering if I am a little crazy here or if anyone else would do the same? :heartbeat
