curious about CCNP employment in Michigan

hello, i am a ccnp student at wayne state university, i am applying for the dnp program. i am wondering what employment opportunities are in michigan. i am not seeing a lot of job postings for critical care nurse practitioners out there. i am hoping i am not getting myself into a field with no jobs available. i am also wondering what the average salary for a ccnp is? i've looked on line, but it seems to be much less than people i have talked to. thanks for your help!
