Hey all! I was wondering about what my chances are for getting into CU in Lebanon. I have not gotten in touch with them because I just found out about their program but wanted to get some feedback from anyone who might be in a similar position. So I finished all my prereqs for the TSU program and applied to their BSN program but did not get in. I have a 3.5 GPA, 92 HESI (although I know you need to take the Kaplan nursing exam for CU), however, due to a really horrible professor I got Cs in both AP I and II. I think that's why I didn't get into TSUs program which is why I'm considering CU. does anyone know if CU lets you in even with Cs in AP lecture? (Got Bs in lab) thanks!

I actually was in the same spot as you. I applied for TSU's nursing program and did not get accepted by the horrible advisement that I received there. Honestly you are better off not going there. They are very unorganized and bias. I regret every going there and spending my money for their classes especially since I moved 2000 miles away to go to school there think I was going to be excepted into their program. I had a 4.0 and scored a 86 I believe on the Hesi. Well to answer your question, I am currently pursuing to go to Cumberland for nursing school. I just took the Kaplan test for the second time today and still was unable to pass the science. I am sure though if your GPA is above a 3.0 and you do well on the test you should get accepted. Just some advice though. Do not use the Kaplan as your study resource for the science portion. It is useless. Use other resources to review the science portion like crash course on Youtube. It actually helps and the resources that people on here have posted. Let me know if you need to know anything else. Good Luck!

Hi AB051982! When it came to receiving your email, how long after your file being submitted to the committee did they let you know their decision? Also, did the email come to your personal mailbox or your school address? Thanks!
