I'm currently working on my bachelors degree. I have quite a few semester hours cause I've changed my major several times (over 100) but am now just wanting to finish my bachelors. My plan is to get my bachelors and then to apply to nursing school after I get my bachelors. I was originally going to major in bio to help towards nursing but I registered for school so late that I'm having a REALLY hard time getting into any of the courses I need. I did happen to notice that a lot of psych courses are open and I think I could get a Bachelors in psych a lot faster than if I were to try for a bachelors in Bio. I also do enjoy psych more than I do Bio . But I'm just worried that I may hurt my chances by getting my bachelors in psych rather than bio? As long as I get a degree in a semi related field and do my pre reqs does it matter what my degree is in? (I read through the CU pre reqs and it didn't seem to specify what sort of degree was needed, just the 4 pre req classes they require and a bachelors). Not that it probably matters one way or the other, but I will be attending UCD to get my 1st bachelors. Anyone have any input?
