CU Denver Traditional Program 2019

Hi Everyone! I thought I would start a thread for those of us who are applying for the June 2019 start for CU Denver's Traditional BSN Program. I applied last year and was wait listed, so I am trying again this year!

Has anyone applied before and is trying again or is this your first time?

I applied a few years ago, was accepted, but I ultimately made some other decisions for my professional life. Now I am applying again. Have you heard anything about attending interviews? I know the interview date is set already.

Hi!

I haven't heard anything about interviews yet. When I applied last year we got an email on December 19th and they usually say around the "middle" of December. So, I'm hoping we'll hear sometime next week! Hopefully we both get good news!

Hi! I got my interview email as well. :) Does anyone know what style of interview it will be- individual, group, both?

Hello! I've also received an invitation to interview. From what I understand, it is a combination of both group and individual interviewing, with the addition of a group activity observed by interviewers. I am still looking through past years' application threads to get a better idea, but I haven't seen anything yet that is absolutely definitive in terms of structure and schedule. Congratulations on making it to the next step and good luck!! :)

I’ve been trying to post to this forum since before interviews but the site was down for maintenance...

Anyways, looks like we’re in the final days before finding out if we got in or not. Has anyone found the exact day they’re gonna send out emails?

Hi, not sure if this thread is still active.  I am currently applying to the program for Summer 2021! I was wondering if your first Summer, if any of your classes online? 

For clinical, how common were placements at University Hospital or Children's? Were placements really spread out across hospitals?
