If you're in California, you should be able to go through assist.org to find the equivalent classes for your community college (CC). If it just says any A2 certified course but you're not sure what courses at your CC articulate, then you can go to CCC GE, CSU Breadth, and IGETC Patterns Links and look for the CSU GE breadth for your CC. The CC's are listed in ABC order. I'm not sure if they'll take your AP English class. You'll have to talk to an academic advisor at CSUSM. I hope this helps!

Hi everyone,
I was wondering how applicants fulfilled the "written communication" requirement for CSUSM. I looked for equivalent courses, but couldn't find any in community colleges in my area. Can I use an AP score to fulfill this requirement? Like Eng Lang AP? Thanks!!
