I'm applying to apply to the CSU channel island RN to BSN program and found out they are not CCNE accredited but they put in an application according to this site: CCNE New Applicants
My question is if I need to wait until they get accredited to attend. My ultimate goal is to be an NP or CRNA and I've heard stories of people not being accepted into those programs because their school wasn't CCNE accredited. What if I graduate from there and they still haven't been accredited but do later down the line. Would those schools accept that? Or would I have to have attended right after they got accredited? I started applying to schools late and this is the only one accepting applications until May 14 so any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if the RN to BSN is accredited separately from the regular BSN program, but CSUCI appears to already be CCNE accredited: http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne/reports/rptAccreditedPrograms_New.asp?state=CA&sFullName=California
According to the link, the program was accredited in October, 2009. Do you know of a source that says different?
