CSU Stanislaus ASBSN Cohort 8

Hi Everyone!

I didn't see a forum for Cohort 8 of ASBSN program for CSU Stanislaus so I wanted to start one.

I am currently starting my application for CSU (general app) and working on finishing the program application for ASBSN Cohort 8.

I have taken the TEAS once 89.3 but am strongly considering re-taking it. Should I?

Who else is applying? How is the process going? What are your scores and what have you heard about getting in?

Thank you for your reply! How is the program? I am wondering if you moved to Stockton or are commuting? I have turned in my application, just waiting to hear back and researching scholarships, loan options, and figuring out my plan for housing. Any feedback would be awesome. hope the program is going well for you!!

Hi! Program is going well. It is doable as long as you are ready to focus on school and commit most of your life to it for 17 months. I commute 50 minutes each way. The clinical assignments are in Modesto or Stockton. Classroom/clinical days are 2 to 4 days a week depending on the session.

Hello!

Glad to see a forum has been started :) I have applied to Cohort 8 and have been anxiously waiting to hear back (just a few more weeks!). I'm happy to hear 89.3% is a solid TEAS score, cuz that's the same score I got! Good luck to all who have applied!!!!!!

Hi sorry, this is off topic but when did you have to do the drug screening before entering the program? I'm transferring to CSU Stanislaus hopefully in Spring '19. Thanks.

hey sorry just saw this. im pretty sure yes even if you are transferring there is a background check, finger printing and drug screen i believe .. Im not sure if they host it there and make you go to a specific place or if you can go to any certified place to get it

Haha I've been checking my email constantly to see if I've gotten anything! But in previous years the program has sent out letters in the mail about program statuses, maybe it'll be the same this year too? I've heard them being a few days late too lol. I really hope they send emails, I like the instant gratification! hahaha. goood luck!!!

I calle then a few days ago. They mentioned that some letters were sent out last weekend. And more will be sent out this weekend!! So we'll probably be receiving them this upcoming week.

Mine came in today!!! BUT I'm not home right now so I have no idea if I got in or not xD the suspense is killing me! Has anyone else gotten theirs today??
