CSU Dominguez Hills RN to BSN or UOT Arlington

Published

Hi,

I am interested in hearing from anyone that has attended Cal State University Dominguez Hills. I am torn between this school and UOT Arlington. I think UOT would be easier, but feel like CSUDH would be a little more credible. Can someone please let me know how their experience has been at either school?

Hello! I completed the RN to BSN program at CSUDH 2 years ago. Excellent program, and mostly online, except for one weekend of 'hands on' assessments and the public health, leadership clinical hours you would complete independently with your preceptor of choice. CSUDH RN to BSN also includes PHN coursework and when completed, eligibility for a PHN certificate from CA BRN. UOTA does not incorporate public health in its curriculum and I know RN's who have had to go back to do the PH coursework separately.

UOTA requires at least one extra course (History of Texas).
