So i have been told to study hurst, pearson, kaplan and ati. Which is the best and/or closest to the nclex exam? What way have you been told to study for it? Any help will be awesome.

I remember thinking there was a big difference between ATI and Kaplan. After my final ATI exam, I never looked at it again. I used Saunders in my last semester, and Kaplan for maybe 4 weeks before my NCLEX. I didn't use the decision tree (it actually made me miss more questions). Honestly, if you don't know the material now, don't study. Practice answering questions and understand what they are looking for. Read the question and formulate possible outcomes based on the question, then look at your answers. Don't go against your gut instinct!

Also, don't think about what level of questions you're getting, you'll just psych yourself out. I remember starting my test and getting several select all that apply, and then I got one that wasn't. I was thinking "OH NO I MISSED ONE!" it's not a big deal. My med-surg professor gave some great advice - when you know you've missed one or if it's really hard, that's one of the questions they're using for statistical data. It doesn't count anyway ;)

Good luck. You know your study habits by now, go with it.
